Michael Magnusson is a key figure in Saab’s aviation business and is particularly well known as an author and former manager. As an author, he has written several books on Saab’s aviation history, including Saab 340 & Saab 2000; The Untold Story (2014) and SAAB Safari (2003).
He has a background at Saab: Magnusson started as a test engineer at Saab AB in 1982 and was involved throughout the entire era of the Saab 340 and Saab 2000 passenger aircraft. He has held several management roles within the group, including director and president of Saab Aircraft Leasing.
