Trond Eriksen started at the Luftforsvarets training school in 1963. After his training he started to fly the Albatross (1966-1969) and was transferred to 335 skvadron (335 Squadron of RNoAF) in 1969, where he flew the Douglas Dakota until the aircraft type was replaced by the DA20 Jet Falcon. In 1979, he started to fly as pilot for Braathens SAFE. He has written numerous articles and held several lectures about his flying career and the Douglas Dakota and now European Airlines Publishing is proud to print his latest book about the Douglas Dakota in Norway.
