Oliver Andre Rosto – A Life Dedicated To Aviation. In 1913 the Norse-American Oliver Andre Rosto was the first Norwegian to design, construct and fly a monoplane. He was mainly active in the world aviation and worked as airplane and engine inspector for the Curtiss Aeroplane & Engine Factory, Ericson Aircraft Ltd., the Civil Aeronautic Authority and the Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance Company – AEMCO.
